The Naturalist’s Library is a series of natural history volumes edited by Sir William Jardine and published between 1833 and 1843 by Edinburgh based printers, William Home Lizars.

This engraving of the walrus is taken from one of the 13 volumes on Mammalia, The natural history of the amphibious carnivora (1839) by Robert Hamilton (ID: s QL4.N2; 8).
